Miyavi has competition

...now that Aoi from the GazettE has discovered Twitter! You can find and follow him here.

He's only been up for a few days (and yes, it's all official...and in Japanese) so there's not much up, but so far it's been a whole bunch of awesomeness.

But of course Miyavi's bilingual tweets plus incredible sense of humour still has him in the lead in terms of accessibility. Find and follow him here.

What's Up, Doc?

Evidently I'm late in finding out, but... as part of the Dr Martens anniversary celebrations (the boots are turning 50 this year!) they're coupling up with Sanrio to make the cuuuuuutest boots ever!!

Don't believe me? Just take a look at this!

Being ill sucks.

But mainly being ill when you can't eat sucks. So I'm spending my days dreaming wildly of delicious food I'll eat once I can stomach it...

Current favourite: San Choi Bao

Which, minus the sprouts, is perfectly paleo. ^^  No idea what paleo/primal means? Check out Mark's Daily Apple for a quick 101, and also my other blog (to be started up soon), Paleolicious.

Woe. I hope I can eat again soon... In the meantime, I'll just wear what I want to eat.

Renewal Open!

Those of you familiar with shopping in Japan should recognise that expression, at least.
Since my blogging has been rather sporadic of late, I've decided it's best to just cast away my old rather badly organised journal and replace it with a (hopefully) better concept. We'll see how that goes.

I have a few side projects and a couple of other blogs on the go, and I'm hoping that this will help rather than hinder my creative writing efforts. By keeping various topics separated, I'll prevent that horrible mishmash of 'oh I like this and that, but what the heck do I...no that goes better there...wait...what?' Yeah, I don't understand what goes in my head at those times either.

And thus, I unveil this blog and it's common theme, namely: me. Topics will be pretty random and spread out regardless, but there'll be a clear separation (for me, at least) between work work, work fun, and fun fun. (I probably need to work on some prettier titles for that stuff).

And so goodbye old blog, hello new one! Hope you enjoy reading about my adventures here as well.
